In the Spotlight

Women's Resource Center received word recently that, along with Grand Rapids Community College and other community partners, it has been awarded a $4 million federal grant that will be used to train inner-city Grand Rapids residents for "green" jobs. The green jobs sector is expected to be a growing and important part of Michigan's new economy. Women's Resource Center will be partnering with GRCC specifically to recruit economically disadvantaged women and connect them to green jobs training programs.
