Pillar Awards
Since 1987, WRC has honored West Michigan employers who have implemented best practices that empower women at work. Formerly, this award was called Employer Recognition Award. To reflect the strength and spirit of the award WRC unveils its Pillar Award. The name has changed, but not the intent. This award will continue to showcase the noteworthy efforts of West Michigan employers who are pillars in our community and serve as one vehicle for WRC to fulfill its mission, “To improve women’s workplace and economic opportunities.” This year, 2008, will be the 19th annual event.
